In addition to her professional accomplishments, Estrellita is deeply dedicated to community service. She has volunteered with organizations such as the Salvation Army, Evangel Christian Center, and the FINRA Latino Affinity Network, consistently giving back through service, mentorship, and advocacy.
Currently, Estrellita serves as a valued member of the advisory board of DTA of NY, where her guidance, support, and belief in the organization’s mission continue to make a meaningful impact. Beyond her role as a board member, she is also one of our loyal monthly donors who genuinely believes in the importance of creating opportunities for youth and supporting the community through tennis, education, and mentorship.
In addition, Estrellita is part of the team that helps oversee and manage the organization’s financial and banking records, helping ensure that DTA of NY maintains accurate bookkeeping practices and organized financial records. Her financial knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to accountability have been extremely valuable to the organization’s continued growth and stability.

Her background in working with young kids as a paraprofessional and as an assistant with college students at the renowned Columbia University assures us she’ll be a great value to the community.

Katherine is a mom of two girls, Annelie and Madeleine. She joins DTA of NY with a strong background in sales and retail, but her focus within the organization goes far beyond operations. Katherine helps streamline DTA programs and communications while also working closely with our youth on social-emotional learning and personal developm
Katherine is a mom of two girls, Annelie and Madeleine. She joins DTA of NY with a strong background in sales and retail, but her focus within the organization goes far beyond operations. Katherine helps streamline DTA programs and communications while also working closely with our youth on social-emotional learning and personal development. She is passionate about mental health advocacy and is a Certified Mental Health First Aider, always encouraging our students to grow not only as athletes, but also as confident and resilient young leaders.
In addition, Katherine serves as our liaison for the Winward Academy partnership opportunity available through the USTA. Through this program, eligible high school students have access to free academic support resources designed to help them excel in school and prepare for important exams such as the SAT and ACT. The program focuses on academic growth, college readiness, and providing students with additional educational support so they can pursue greater opportunities both on and off the court.
At DTA of NY, we believe tennis can open doors far beyond sports, and partnerships like Winward Academy help us continue supporting the academic, emotional, and personal success of our youth.

Passionate about both community impact and tennis, Kimberly plays an important role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting DTA’s mission of providing opportunities for youth through sports, education, and mentorship.
As a dedicated volunteer, Kimberly also assists with maintaining the organization’s bookkeeping and financial records, helping DTA stay organized and accountable as we continue to grow. Her willingness to volunteer her time and expertise has been extremely valuable to the team and to the development of our programs.
